Statement

In my work I examine cultural archetypes and symbols of belief. I approach these matters from a personal point of view. I observe my own culture and its history, while referring to issues like identity, religion and migration. I combine video works with low-tech, ancient practices, craft, painting and drawing. The art object often becomes a ceremonial object shared with the viewer, charging it with different meanings and connotations.
